Aurigny is ending its 50th birthday year with a final ‘bumper’ golden ticket event.
The airline has been celebrating its 50th year, which officially started in March 2018 to commemorate the first ever Aurigny flight between Alderney and Guernsey in 1968.
On Saturday 23rd of March Aurigny will be holding a traditional car treasure hunt, which will take participants around the island following ten clues to complete the hunt.
The event will start and end at Guernsey Airport and the winning team will receive four return tickets to London Gatwick…a ‘Bumper Golden Giveaway.”
PR Manager, Jess Mauger said: “We wanted to close the year with another event and ensure as many people as possible could take part. Unlike the other hunts, the date of this has been announced in advance and we are encouraging as many people as possible to come and do the hunt as just a fun activity, with the added bonus that they may win the final golden tickets.”
“All the destinations for the clues are accessible by car with just a quick hop out to work out the clues. We wanted to make the final event as inclusive as possible.”
Anyone wishing to take part is asked to register their interest by e-mailing [email protected] so that an idea on numbers can be ascertained, however you can just take part on the day.
The treasure hunt will be available from the Aurigny ticket sales desk between 10am and 11am and hunters should return their sheets to the same place between 3pm and 4pm to be in with a chance of winning the Golden Tickets.
A tie-breaker question will decide the winning team in the event that more than one team gets all the answers correct. The winning team will be announced the following week when the 50th Anniversary celebrations will officially end.
