Carriage of Infants

  1. Only one infant per adult passenger is permitted. The total number of infants on each flight is limited, our system will advise you if there are no further infant spaces on the flights you select.

  2. There is no minimum age for Infants, however for babies under 4 weeks we recommend you check with your doctor.

  3. Infants are not allocated a seat, the infant must travel on an adult passenger's lap and an infant seatbelt will be provided.

  4. Aurigny does not allow passengers travelling with infants to use their own car type seats on board the aircraft.

  5. A folding pushchair or buggy and a car seat in a protective cover may be carried as free hold luggage for each Infant travelling

Youths Flying Without Adults

Youths under 14 are not allowed to travel on their own, or accompanied by another Youth of any age, and if booked will be refused travel at the Airport and no refunds will be issued.

Youths aged 14 years or over travelling without adults are expected to be able to look after themselves in the same way that unassisted adult passengers are. Parent/guardian MUST sign the consent form available here.

Before we can confirm this booking we need to make you aware of the following:

  1. In the event of flight disruption, Aurigny may be unable to provide any special individual assistance for youths. This could lead to long periods of time with no guardian. This may be whilst waiting in airports, travelling by coach, taxi, train or ferry, overnight stops in hotels, guest houses, airports or in the care of social services.
  2. There may be long periods where no representative from Aurigny is available to talk to.
