Aurigny recruits full-time Cabin Crew based inGuernsey, flying on our ATR and Embraer fleets to a variety of destinations. Full training is given and over time recruits can have the opportunity to advance to Senior Cabin Crew and Training positions.

Role Purpose:

Cabin Crew members are responsible for operating on the flight to ensure the delivery of a consistently high level of safety and customer services to all passengers. To present a caring and courteous manner to ensure that passengers have a first class experience on Aurigny flights.

Key Accountabilities:

  • checking the safety equipment, ensuring the aircraft is clean and tidy;
  • welcoming passengers on board, check boarding cards and direct them to their seats;
  • informing passengers of the aircraft safety procedures and ensuring that all hand luggage is securely stored away;
  • attending a pre-flight briefing, during which cabin crew are assigned their working positions for the upcoming flight
  • checking all passengers seat belts and galleys are secure prior to take-off;
  • making announcements on behalf of the pilot and answering passenger questions during the flight;
  • demonstrating emergency equipment and safety procedures;
  • giving first aid to passengers where necessary;
  • ensuring passengers disembark safely at the end of a flight;
  • serving and selling refreshments to passengers;
  • selling duty-free goods and advising passengers of any allowance restrictions;
  • reassuring passengers and ensuring that they follow safety procedures correctly in emergency situations;
  • Ensuring that uniform regulations are conformed.

Skills and Experience:

  • No prior experience necessary
  • Be well organised with good attention to detail
  • Be proactive in approach to all responsibilities with ability to work on own initiative and to specific deadlines
  • Ability to recognise and deal with challenges promptly and efficiently
  • Demonstrates qualities of self-motivation and professionalism, with the ability and willingness to take on extra responsibility
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours as necessary
  • Ability to read and write English and follow verbal and written instructions

Professional/Regulatory Requirements:

Must be able to provide 5 years full referencing history

A basic Police Clearance Certificate deemed satisfactory to Aurigny and the Airport Authorities

A valid right to work and a valid passport
