What is Flight Forward?
This is primarily (but not exclusively) a service designed for Guernsey families travelling with young children whose return flight from abroad arrives in time to allow them to catch an earlier Aurigny flight home.
For example, A family travelling back from the USA have allowed plenty of time to connect with their Aurigny flight. They arrive on schedule, and realise that they have enough time to catch an earlier Aurigny flight and avoid hanging around at the airport. Flight Forward caps the cost of changing to an earlier flight for £42 for adults and allows any children travelling with them, on the same booking, to change flights free of charge.
Changes are subject to seat availability at the time of making the change, and only apply to passengers holding a reservation on a later flight; they are not a standby facility. Flight Forward can only be used at the airport of departure on the day of departure. If you wish to change your flight in advance of arriving at the airport, you must use our normal change of booking process.
There are no children travelling with us, can we still use Flight Forward?
Yes, although there is a possibility that you may save money by using our normal change of booking facility. This would be the case if the fare you originally paid was still available on the flight you want to change to. Ask at our ticket desk and they will be able to determine which option will be most cost effective.
I am travelling on my own. Can I use Flight Forward?
Yes, you can.
How much do I have to pay?
Adults, or children travelling without an accompanying adult, pay £42 per person. Children under 18 years are free, provided they are travelling with at least 1 adult on the same booking. Proof of age may be required.
What if I have to travel on a later Aurigny service?
Flight forward is only available for passengers wishing to travel on an earlier flight. Normal fare conditions and charges will apply for anyone wishing to change to a later flight.
Is it available on all fare types, including the lowest on-line fare.
It is applicable on all fares (including bookings made via a travel agent) that would normally incur a fee to change. Fully Flexible tickets can be changed without charge.
Is this available on all Aurigny services?
Yes, it is available on all Aurigny routes.
Note - currently it is free to change flights on inter–island services.
Does this need to be paid in advance of travel?
No, you only pay if you use it, and it can only be arranged in person on the day of travel at the airport (ticket desks).
Where do I do this?
For London Gatwick, go to the Skybreaks Ticket Sales Desk at the South Terminal. If arriving into Manchester, London Stansted, Bristol or East Midlands, go to the Menzies ticket desk.

Are they any restrictions to number of children?
No, there are no restrictions, as long as there is at least one accompanying adult and everybody is travelling on the same booking.
